Phu da Tea Joint-venture Company is a joint-venture company between Vinatea and Foodtuff Trading Baghdad Corporation (Iraq).

The company’s legal capital is USD 15,100,000 in which Vietnam contributes 45%, the partner takes 55%. The company started cooperation since 1999 under the license number 2106/GP of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, working time is 50 years.

Phu da Tea Joint-venture Company at present:

• 03 tea plantsations and 03 tea processing factories with total area of 1385 hectares, the average capacity of over 12 tons of fresh bud tea/hectare. The company is extending more area with new tea breeds, intensive cultivation, tea garden improvement, replacement of old tea breeds to gain higher quality and output.

• 03 tea processing factories with total capacity of 150 tons of fresh bud tea/day, the annual output is 4,000-5,000 tons of black tea at all kinds with the high quality and meet the customers’ demands.

• Black tea is applied Orthodox technology: OP, BOP, FBOP, P, Pekoe, BP, PS, BPS, F, D and OPA.
